Suit Up

Spring vacay, yo! You ready? Literally here. Like, now.

So, if you are like me, your swimsuit roll has been basic black and boring for a minute. Lately, I've been catching this swimsuit vibe. Feels like the swimsuit industry has evolved to catch up with how regular adult females interact with the pool or beach.

I mean, how often are you actually getting in the pool? And, chances are, if you are getting in, you've got the practical suit angle totally covered.

What you are probably missing is a suit that looks fab, is comfortable, has the bottom half covered in a respectable way, and can work at lunch by the pool or for cocktails in the evening if you are lingering before you head in for a quick change for dinner. I mean, right?

That is me vis-a-vis any large body of water.

Here's my solution: Invest in one beautiful suit (albeit more expensive than maybe normal) and grab a much less expensive pareo/wrap skirt/lightweight airy skirt that coordinates mildy. Don't overthink it. Keep your roll light and easy with a simple sandal and modest jewelry, a natural fiber bag. And, boom. Pool perfection.

Here are my favorites options - I've pulled a variety of gorgeous hues, styles, and price points:

Johanna Ortiz Tropics, Salinas, Verdelimón, Zimmerman, Max Mara, Onia, Araks, Jacquemus, Johanna Ortiz Leyenda, La Double J, and Johanna Ortiz Bahia.

Also, check out these amazing (and often amazingly inexpensive wrap skirts): Tularose Warner, Tularose Stella (also this one), Loveshackfancy, Pull & Bear, Vila, and Cleobella.
